May 14, 2021

In this episode of the Masters of Finance Podcast, Alex is once again joined by Dr. Paul Moran to go through some of the changes that have been announced for the Australian superannuation system.

We have a look at Downsizing, increases in contribution caps and the changes to everyone's favourite work test.

Some of these will take effect from the 1st of July 2021, others will only come into effect on the 1st of July in the financial year following Royal Assent is granted (which really means 1 July 2022 at the earliest).
